How it works

  1. Film a session and export the reel. Any take you have already recorded works — this is the video the app makes, not something extra.
  2. Post it publicly and tag @studylapse. The tag is how we know the post is yours, so a claim without one cannot be paid.
  3. Send us the link below. We check every claim by hand and email your code within three working days.

What counts as a reel?

Anything you made in StudyLapse — a timelapse of a session, with or without the clip of you cracking the can. It has to be footage the app produced, because the point is showing people what it makes.

When do you count the likes?

72 hours after you post. Claim any time after that; a screenshot of the count at the moment you claim is what we check against.

How long until I get my code?

Three working days. A person opens your post and looks at it, which is slower than a robot and considerably harder to game.

What happens when the free time runs out?

It becomes a normal subscription at the usual price unless you cancel first. You can cancel any time from your Apple Account settings, including on day one — the free months are yours either way.

Can I claim more than once?

Once every 90 days per account. Post a better one next time and claim a higher tier.

Do I need to keep the post up?

For 30 days, yes. Taking it down sooner means the next claim from that account will not be paid.

Will you ever ask for my Apple Account?

No. A code is all that is needed, and we will never ask for your Apple Account, your password or any payment details. Anyone who does is not us — forward it to hi@xon.so and we will say so publicly.
